Membership
certificate TFC
TFC id dedicated to active CW radio operators, who are involved in
popularization of amateur radio telegraphy operating and keeping CW at high
standards. TFC should became a serious guide to good CW practice for Novices and
the place where keen experts may find a good companion. TFC was founded 1991 in
Czechoslovakia and the membership is open to all licensed amateurs in the world.
Election to Membership will be on fullfilling of both below mentioned rules:
1.
The Candidate should submit at least 1000 CW contacts in past 3 years. Contest
QSO does not count. There is a period of 3 years only to made that 1000 CW
contacts, regardless of year of application. A list of monthly QSO number is
necesasary, total number must be at least 1000.
2. The Candidate must collect at
least 15 points as follows:
a) confirmed 25 countries on CW = 5 points
b) confirmed 50 countries on CW = 10 points
c) achieving 5 awards on CW = 5 points
d) achieving 10 awards on CW = 10 points
e) 250 CW contacts in national contests = 5 points
f) 500 CW contacts in international contests = 10 points
A list showing the name of Award, its number and date of issue,
name of contest and QSO number, year of contest and a list of worked contries
must be furnished. The list must be accompanied by a honour statement. Country
status is determined by current DXCC list. The use of keyboards and decoders is
not permitted. Installation to Full Membership depends on decision of the
Committee. The Committee willl also investigate any complaint to a Candidate.
There is only entry fee of 10 IRC/10 USD, no other subscriptions. Joining the
Club by fullfilling of above mentioned rules is only first step, there is very
extensive Award and activity program. All Candidates will be informed in due
course.
